The Arabic script is the basis for one of the most
vibrant and creative calligraphic artforms in the
world. Arabic script is used to write Arabic, Persian
(Farsi), Urdu, Dari, and many other languages. I
first learned Persian calligraphy in elementary
school, using the traditional reed pen -- the qalam
ney -- to copy lines of poetry from Hafiz, Ferdowsi,
Hafiz, Rumi and Rudaki.
My work has been featured worldwide in books,
magazines, websites and exhibitions. In addition to
calligraphic designs I can provide Persian
translation services for the work you wish to have
incorporated into a design. I have created designs
in Arabic, Persian (Farsi) and Urdu for book titles,
inscriptions on rings, silver jewelry, body art,
monograms, logos, websites, book covers, marriage
certificates, and much more.
